Mewah Group
With over 60 years of history, Mewah Group is an integrated global agri-business focused on edible oils and fats, having its headquarters in Singapore and a worldwide marketing network. One of the largest palm oil processors in the world by capacity, Mewah produces a wide range of refined and fractionated vegetable oils and fats principally from palm oil.
To support its strategic vision and growth plans, after remaining a privately controlled business for over 50 years, Mewah went public in 2010 and got listed on the mainboard of the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited. Since going public, Mewah has invested in a new palm-oil refinery, a palm-oil-based dairy manufacturing facility, and a biodiesel plant in Malaysia. It has also added rice, dairy, and palm-based soap to its product portfolio.
The addition of rice and dairy products to our product portfolio has helped us to offer a wider range of consumer products to our existing and new customers who import and distribute various end products in the destination markets. The addition of new products under our own brands opened new opportunities for us and provided significant synergies to our existing business.
Mewah’s products are sold to customers in more than 100 countries, duly supported by its wide range of brands, including long-established and well- recognized Oki and Moi brands.
Mewah ventured into the rice business in 2012 and is controlling the full supply chain in terms of having its own aggregation offices at the origin. Mewah as a group trades approx. 350,000 MT to 500,000 MT of Rice per annum. Mewah has also ventured into Basmati Rice processing in India and supplies to some of the most reputed customers in their private labels and has also launched its own Brand Arome in India and International markets.
